Hazardous Disaster Preparedness (HDP) training focuses on emergency response and control.
The USWTMC supports a cadre of Specialized Emergency Response Trainers, or SERTs. The SERTs respond in the face of natural or manmade disasters in order to provide health, safety and environmental training to those who are affected by the disasters.
HDP training provided by the USWTMC also includes Infectious Diseases at Work, or other material through the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) such as Mold Clean-Up and Treatment: Health and Safety Essentials for Workers, Volunteers and Homeowners.
